The Corsican saxophone player Amadeus Chiodi (born in 1985) studied at the "Conservatorium van Amsterdam" and at the "Jazz-Institut-Berlin" (University of the Arts "UdK/Hans Eisler") jazz saxophone, piano, flute and composition.

His musical range includes jazz, swing, pop, soul, blues and funk. He plays soprano, tenor and alto saxophone, flute and piano.

Amadeus currently lives in Berlin, where he plays regularly with his gipsy-swing band Chat Noir.
 

As a sideman he has been touring all over Germany and Europe with several Bands / Singers. The Berlin music scene appreciates Amadeus´ powerful tenor saxophone sound. 

Besides that, Amadeus is a member of the "Loci Soul Band" and the "Tom Klee & the Ballhaus Big Band".
